What to do at recess
A short teachers' manual of playground games by George Ellsworth Johnson, published by Ginn and Company in Boston and New York in 1910 for use in American schools. Pen-and-ink line drawings show children in period pinafores, sailor suits and hats running relays, tossing beanbags and sitting in groups, with dotted paths marking each player's route — useful for figure silhouettes and diagram-style motion marks.
