The wheel
A New York cycling periodical published by F. Jenkins in 1880, addressed to riders, clubs, and the bicycle trade of the high-wheel era. The plates are small wood-engraved side views of ordinary bicycles and their parts, printed on tinted stock, giving designers clean spoke patterns, saddle and handlebar profiles, and silhouettes suited to line work and logo marks.
