The witches' dream book and fortune teller
A cheap popular manual of dream interpretation and fortune-telling issued by A. H. Noe for H. J. Wehman of New York in 1885, sold to general readers curious about omens and luck. Wood engravings show circular talismanic seals ringed with Latin and Greek mottoes, planetary and alchemical signs, arrows, crosses, and a palmistry hand mapped with lines and zodiac marks.
