The work of Fra Angelico da Fiesole reproduced in three hundred and twenty-seven illustrations
A 1913 Brentano's art monograph by Frida Scottmüller cataloguing Fra Angelico's paintings in 327 halftone plates, aimed at collectors, students and scholars of Italian painting. The plates reproduce fifteenth-century panels and frescoes—haloed saints in ranked rows, Annunciations, Crucifixions, predella scenes—in soft grey halftone useful for drapery folds, halo geometry and crowd compositions.
