A London monthly fashion magazine issued by Mr. Bell from 1824, reporting Paris and English dress to middle- and upper-class women readers. Hand-coloured engraved plates group full-length figures in wide-sleeved 1830s gowns with bonnets, shawls and ribbons, above rows of detached hat and headdress studies, giving designers isolated millinery motifs, pastel drapery and outline figure poses on plain grounds.
