A yachtman's scrap book;
A record of the 1885 America's Cup races between Puritan and Genesta, compiled by J. F. Loubat and published by Brentano Brothers in New York in 1887 for yachtsmen and club members following the sport. The plates are pen-and-ink line drawings of racing schooners and cutters under full sail, with hatched cloud banks and ruled water lines, offering rigging diagrams, sail silhouettes, hull profiles and engraved sea and sky textures.
