A 1921 Rhein-Verlag (Basel) survey by Olga Amberger of eighteenth-century Swiss book illustration made alongside Daniel Chodowiecki, assembled for collectors and historians of the printed book. It reproduces small copperplate and etched vignettes: figures in coats, breeches and caps in paneled rooms, garden plots and open country, built from close cross-hatching and dense tonal blacks, useful for period costume, furniture silhouettes and compact narrative framing.
