(Zimmermann on) ocean shipping
A 1921 Prentice-Hall textbook by economist Erich W. Zimmermann on merchant shipping, written in New York for students of trade and transportation. Its plates are working statistical graphics: gridded time-distance charts of vessel movements, branching organizational and route diagrams, world maps of steamship lines in dotted and solid strokes, and boxed flow charts of cargo handling.
