Album de broderies au point de croix
A cross-stitch pattern album compiled by Thérèse de Dillmont and issued around 1885 by the thread firm Dollfus-Mieg & Cie in Mulhouse, Alsace, for needleworkers copying motifs onto counted canvas. The plates photograph worked samples in dark thread on pale linen: grid-built borders, alphabets, stylized flowers and scrolls, usable as modular repeats, monogram sets, or pixel-grid ornament.
