A guide to the Egyptian galleries : (sculpture)
A museum gallery guide to the British Museum's Egyptian sculpture, compiled under E. A. Wallis Budge and printed for the Trustees in London in 1909 for visitors and students. The plates are halftone photographs of limestone and granite stelae, statues and inscribed fragments, shot flat against plain grounds, showing registers of offering scenes, seated and standing figures and dense columns of hieroglyphs usable as carved lettering, border bands and texture.
