The industrial arts in Spain
A survey of Spanish decorative arts by Juan Facundo Riaño, published in London by Chapman and Hall in 1890 as a South Kensington Museum art handbook for collectors, students, and museum visitors. Wood-engraved plates show pendant jewels, hanging lamps, lustreware vases, and inlaid metalwork, supplying dense arabesque and strapwork patterns, silhouetted vessel profiles, and repeating tile-like borders.
