POINT-STITCH. Ten threads must be taken straight down the canvas, and as manyin the next stitch opposite. SQUARE PLAIT. … The length-way of the canvas take ten threads deep, and workten stitches straight; then work ten threads the width of the can-vas, and so continue. For the full display of this stitch, brightcolors should be placed in opposition.
