The font at Edburtoii in Sussex is 21 inches in diameter and 14 inches high ; it … Fir,. 29. — Font, Edburton, .Susse.v has a wide band of foliage and at the top a rov' of trefoil panels. At Piecombc, the adjoining parish, the upper row of small trefoil arches and the narrow band of ornament are the same, but instead of the lower panels there is a row of round-headed arches.
