A gathering of European alchemical, Hermetic and Masonic manuscripts dated 1500–1825, assembled by the American occult writer Manly P. Hall and now at the Getty Research Institute, made for practitioners and collectors of esoteric learning. The pages indexed here are hand-marbled binding papers in vermilion and near-black, where combed and swirled veins break into speckled clusters, usable as full-bleed backgrounds, cover stock, or texture for overprinting.
