A 1910 French trade catalogue issued by the Comptoir des Poutrelles to show builders, architects and engineers how rolled steel I-beams are used in floors, stairs and walls. The eighty plates are tinted cutaway axonometric diagrams, with beams in flat blue against hatched brick, hollow tile and plank infill, useful for construction cross-sections, isometric block studies and limited-palette technical drawing.
