The ABC of the X rays
A popular technical primer on X-rays by William Henry Meadowcroft, published in New York by the American Technical Book Co. in 1896 for lay readers and amateur experimenters. Line engravings show Crookes and Roentgen vacuum tubes, electrodes, ray paths traced as fine radiating lines, laboratory stands and coils; useful for diagrammatic hatching, glass-bulb outlines, and schematic apparatus silhouettes.
