The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal issued from 1905 by the Architect and Engineer Co. in San Francisco for West Coast architects, engineers and contractors. Halftone photographs and rendered perspectives show completed clubs, banks, apartment blocks and civic buildings straight on or from the corner, with rusticated bases, arched top-floor windows and heavy cornices; useful as period building elevations, street-level detail and pencil-rendering texture.
