Architect and engineer
Architect and Engineer was a monthly trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905 for West Coast architects, engineers, and contractors, illustrating new work in California and the Pacific states. Halftone photographs show houses, factories, and civic buildings in raking daylight, usually full-plate with the project and architect's name set in small caps beneath, alongside floor plans and construction details useful for period architectural reference, plate layout, and caption typography.
