An architect's note-book in Spain : principally illustrating the domestic architecture of that country
An architect's travel sketchbook, drawn by Sir Matthew Digby Wyatt on tours of Spain and reproduced by autotype in London in 1872 for architects and students of domestic building. The plates are rapid pen-and-ink studies of patios, arcaded courtyards, vaulted passages and church interiors, built from dense diagonal hatching, with handwritten place names inside the image and small figures set in for scale.
