Canadian printer & publisher
Canadian Printer & Publisher was a monthly trade journal issued in Toronto by Maclean-Hunter in 1916 for printers, pressmen, typographers and newspaper publishers across Canada. The plates are coarse-screen halftone portraits of trade figures in suits and stiff collars, alongside catalogue-style photographs of presses, folders and cutters retouched against blank grounds, with advertising typography and type specimens throughout.
