Canadian printer & publisher
Canadian Printer & Publisher was a monthly trade journal issued by Maclean-Hunter in Toronto for printers, pressmen and publishing-house owners, this run dating from 1921. The plates are halftone photographs and engraved catalogue cuts of platen presses, folding and cutting machines, flywheels, gear trains and cast-iron frames, shot plain against grey studio backdrops; useful for machine silhouettes, spoked-wheel shapes and period equipment detail.
