Trade catalogue Nr. 35 issued in 1894 by the Ernst Leitz optical works of Wetzlar, printed in Leipzig by Klinkhardt for laboratory buyers, physicians and microscopists. Engraved plates show brass microscopes in three-quarter and profile view, each stand, tube, stage and mirror modelled in fine hatching against blank ground, giving designers isolated instrument silhouettes and shaded metal texture.
