The colonial architecture of Salem
Frank Cousins and Phil M. Riley's 1919 survey of Salem, Massachusetts houses and public buildings, published in Boston by Little, Brown for architects, builders, and students of Colonial and Federal design. The 241 halftones are exterior and interior photographs plus measured details: clapboard and brick facades, fanlit doorways, porticoes with fluted columns, staircases, mantels, cornices, and fence and gatepost work.
