X rays
A technical handbook on X-rays by physicist G. W. C. Kaye, published in London and New York by Longmans, Green in 1918 for physicists, engineers and radiographers. The plates mix heavy-line diagrams of vacuum tubes, anticathodes and ray paths with grainy radiographs and oscillograph traces, offering bulb silhouettes, dotted beam geometry and zigzag circuit symbols for reuse.
