Design of reinforced concrete engine house
A 1909 civil engineering thesis by Clarence L. Eddy at the University of Illinois, working out a reinforced concrete railroad engine house for fellow engineers and examiners. The folded plates are hand-lettered working drawings: fan-shaped roundhouse plans, longitudinal and end elevations, hatched sections through engine pits, column and beam details with rod schedules and dimension strings.
