Design of a reinforced-concrete deck-girder highway bridge
A 1913 engineering thesis by Richard Frederick Huxmann at the University of Illinois, working out the design of a reinforced-concrete deck-girder highway bridge for examiners and fellow structural engineers. The plates are hand-inked drawings on plain sheets: truss elevations with running dimension strings, girder and slab sections showing rod placement, stippled concrete fill, hatched loads, and captions lettered by hand.
