Distribution of heating in synchronous converter armatures
An engineering thesis by Eugene Stuart Hight, submitted at the University of Illinois in 1910, analyzing how heat distributes through the armatures of synchronous converters. The plates are two-color polar diagrams: red concentric circles and radial rulings printed as a fine measuring grid, overlaid with black polygonal traces, spirals and numbered scales around a dashed red ring and small crosshair center — usable as circular grid stock, dial faces, or line-over-mesh pattern.
