A technical dyeing manual issued in 1902 by the German dyestuff manufacturer Leopold Cassella & Co. of Frankfurt, written for cotton mill dyers and colourists working with its products. The line engravings are schematic side elevations of continuous dyeing ranges — vats, roller frames, squeeze rollers, trolleys — with lettered parts, useful as flat industrial machine diagrams.
