A monthly horticultural periodical edited by J. C. Loudon and issued in London from 1826 for gardeners, nurserymen and estate owners. Wood-engraved figures run to hothouse and pit sections, hollow-wall and flue construction plans, glazing and bed layouts, most drawn to a printed foot-scale with letter keys, giving designers hatched masonry, measured diagrams and small technical lettering.
