Greek, Etruscan and Roman bronzes
A museum catalogue of the Metropolitan Museum's Greek, Etruscan and Roman bronzes, compiled by curator Gisela M. A. Richter and printed in New York in 1915 for scholars, collectors and students of ancient art. The plates are halftone photographs of small bronzes on plain grey grounds, mostly single standing figures, mirrors, vessels and fittings shot from one or two angles, useful for silhouettes, figure poses and the mottled corroded surfaces of cast metal.
