Homes of character.
A 1920 trade catalogue of ready-cut houses issued by the Lewis Manufacturing Company of Bay City, Michigan, for prospective homeowners and builders ordering precut lumber by mail. The plates pair line-drawn house views with paired first- and second-floor plans: heavy black-filled walls, swing arcs at every door, dimension lines with arrowheads, and hand-lettered room names and sizes in small capitals, useful as diagram texture, lettering models, or architectural ornament.
