International studio
International Studio, the New York edition of the London art magazine The Studio, begun 1897 and addressed to painters, designers, craftworkers and collectors. Halftone plates reproduce contemporary paintings, etchings and decorative work in soft grey tone: figure groups in landscape, moonlit trees, peasant women by water, with captions and artist credits set beneath the image.
