International studio
International Studio was an illustrated art magazine published in New York from 1897, the American edition of London's The Studio, aimed at artists, collectors, and decorative designers. Its plates are halftone and photogravure reproductions of paintings, etchings, and drawings — misty landscapes, figures under trees, engraved architectural vistas — useful for soft tonal backgrounds and period reproduction textures.
