International studio
International Studio was the New York edition of the London art magazine The Studio, begun in 1897 and issued monthly for artists, collectors, and decorators. Its plates are halftone reproductions of contemporary paintings, drawings, and design work, printed in soft grays: lamplit interiors, harbor and coastal views, crowded street and market scenes, wooded landscapes with water, plus ornament and lettering pages.
