International studio
International Studio was the New York edition of the London art magazine The Studio, issued from 1897 for artists, collectors and decorators reporting on painting, etching, and the decorative arts. Its plates are halftone and photogravure reproductions of paintings, drypoints and drawings: tonal river and woodland landscapes, garden and country-house views, and crowded costumed figure scenes carrying banner captions in drawn capitals across the top edge.
