The investigation of a reinforced concrete deck girder highway bridge
A 1914 civil engineering thesis by Frank Baker Warren at the University of Illinois, analyzing the design of a reinforced concrete deck girder highway bridge for faculty examiners and fellow engineering students. The plates are hand-drawn ink working drawings on tinted paper: half plans of reinforcing bar layouts, a pier plan with stacked dimension chains, and a cross section of the roadway, all annotated in careful hand lettering with arrowed dimension lines and bar schedules.
