The Kindergarten magazine
A monthly periodical for kindergarten teachers and Froebel trainers, issued in Chicago by the Kindergarten Magazine Co. from 1891. Most plates are small square line diagrams showing Froebel gift blocks laid out in symmetrical plans, the solid forms filled with diagonal hatching against bare paper and light guide lines; useful as ready-made modular patterns, hatch textures, and grid motifs.
