The Locomotive
A periodical issued by the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company from 1867 in Hartford, Connecticut, reporting boiler explosions and equipment practice to engineers, insurers and plant owners. The plates are line engravings: hatched sectional views of valves and injectors, dimensioned rivet and seam layouts, and circular head plans, useful as measured technical diagrams with letter keys and scale bars.
