A trade catalogue of microscopes and accessory apparatus issued in 1896 by the optical firm Ernst Leitz in Wetzlar and New York, aimed at physicians, laboratories and instrument dealers. Engraved plates show brass and lacquered instruments in three-quarter view with hatched shading, cast shadows and cutaway stands, useful for precise mechanical silhouettes, tonal engraving texture and scientific-instrument spot illustration.
