Models of ships and boats
A Cairo Museum catalogue of ancient Egyptian wooden ship and boat models, compiled by George Andrew Reisner for the Egyptian Antiquities Service and printed in French at the Institut français d'archéologie orientale in 1913, for archaeologists and curators. Halftone photographs show tomb models with carved crews, masts, cabins and steering oars, alongside line drawings of hulls in profile with measured detail.
