Modern school geography and atlas
A school geography textbook with bound atlas, published by James Campbell and Son in Toronto in 1879 for Canadian classroom use. The plates are small engraved maps in pale tints — yellow, green, pink, buff — with hachured mountain ranges, dense italic place lettering, curved arched titles and ruled graticule borders, useful for period map textures, hand-lettered geographic labels and muted colour-fill palettes.
