Ohio archæological and historical quarterly
A scholarly quarterly issued by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society from Columbus beginning in 1887, written for members, local historians, and antiquarians documenting mound sites, county history, and pioneer biography. Coarse halftone photographs show earthwork-covered fields, wooded river valleys, wooden stairways and frame structures, plus bearded portrait busts, offering heavy blacks, blurred tonal grain, and framed rectangular plates.
