Paper and scissors in the schoolroom
A teacher's manual of paper-folding and paper-cutting exercises by Emily A. Weaver, published by Milton Bradley in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1893 for kindergarten and primary-grade classrooms. The plates are thin-line outline diagrams of folded and cut paper forms — rosettes, four- and eight-point stars, diamonds and hexagons radiating from a center point — usable as geometric motifs, borders, or construction templates.
