Physical laboratory manual and note-book
A physics laboratory manual and note-book by J. B. Gregg, printed in 1898 by the University Herald Press in Ada, Ohio, for college students carrying out bench experiments. The 45 wood-engraved figures show apparatus in three-quarter view"balances, torsion and pressure instruments, clamps on wooden bases"alongside flat diagrams of graduated dials and scales, giving designers crisp black-line machine forms and ready-made circular measuring faces.
