Sir William Gell's record of the Pompeii excavations after 1819, engraved after drawings by Gell, Uwins and Moses and published in London in 1832 for antiquarians, architects and travellers. Line engravings give street views and ruined house exteriors, measured plans and sections, and flat elevations of painted wall schemes with panel borders, candelabra motifs and Greek-key frames.
