Pompéi : vie publique
An archaeological survey of Pompeii's public buildings and streets by the French scholar Henry Thédenat, published in Paris by Laurens in 1906 for students of Greco-Roman art. Halftone photographs and plans show paved streets with stepping stones, stuccoed pillars, colonnades and fountains in flat grey tones, useful for architectural texture, ruin silhouettes and empty street perspectives.
