A short course in astronomy and the use of the globes
A school astronomy textbook by Henry Kiddle, issued in New York and Chicago by Ivison, Blakeman, Taylor & Co. in 1871 for classroom use with terrestrial and celestial globes. The diagrams are white line on dense black: orbits, phase cycles, eclipse cones and lettered geometric constructions, useful as high-contrast negative linework and celestial schematics.
