A text-book of radiology
A medical teaching manual on X-ray practice by Edward Reginald Morton, published in New York by E.B. Treat & Co. in 1915 for physicians and radiographers learning apparatus and diagnosis. The plates are halftone reproductions of early radiographs — ribs, spine, pelvis and skull as soft grey masses with printed arrows and numerals — useful for grainy tonal fields, ghosted silhouettes and annotation marks.
