U.S. patents covering time keeping mechanisms
A compilation of United States Patent Office drawings for timekeeping mechanisms, issued in Washington in 1892 and held by the Smithsonian Libraries, made for examiners, inventors, and patent attorneys. The line engravings show clock movements in plan and section: gear trains, escapements, dials with Roman numerals, battery jars, wiring, and hand-lettered witness signatures, all usable as technical diagram stock.
