The Venetian School of Painting
An art-historical survey of Venetian painting by Evelyn March Phillipps, published by Macmillan in London in 1912 for students and general readers of Renaissance art. The plates are halftone photographic reproductions of paintings by Bellini, Giorgione, Titian, Veronese and Canaletto, giving grey-toned altarpieces, reclining nudes in landscape, crowded banquet and procession scenes, and Venetian canal views usable as tonal source imagery.
